Built in 1902, this historic building is a step back in time. Originally constructed as the Rectory to the Saint Paul's Church was converted into a bed and breakfast in 2005.
Anaconda Development Group purchased the property in May of 2022. Gary fell in love with the property during his many trips to Anaconda. Enjoying the history and overall feel the property. he shared his love for the Hickory House with his wife, Mary. When the bed and breakfast hit the market, they decided to purchase the property and give it new life, bringing in passionate people ready to make the Hickory House the hidden gem in town.
From the outside, looking in...
The first project undertaken at the Hickory House was the landscaping. Returning the stately look. elegant and minimalistic, bringing focus to the beautiful iron fence and fountain both original to the property.
The concrete pathways and lighting create a warm and welcoming environment for guests to enjoy the front yard and back courtyard.
Within the walls....
The Hickory House Inn boasts a beautiful staircase, handcrafted and original to the estate. In classic fashion, two sitting rooms are detailed for men and women parlors, both enhanced by beautiful fireplaces.
The Hickory House Inn has five separate guest rooms, all equipped with private bathrooms. Two rooms reside on the main floor and three large rooms on the second floor.
Each room has it's own history and stories. Many guests return to the Hickory House Inn with childhood memories of it's days serving as the old rectory. It is a pleasure to keep the stories alive and passed on to our lovely guests.

The Janie J Suite features a queen sized bed and a small sitting area with it's own bathroom with a stand up shower.
Sister Gilmary's Suite
The Sister Gilmary's Suite features two double beds and a private bathroom with a stand up shower.
Montana Suite
The Montana Suite is our family suite, featuring a king sized bed in the main room with a sitting area. A second bedroom perfect for the kids, a full/twin sized bunk bed. The bathroom features a clawfoot tub and shower combo for relaxing after a day of exploring beautiful Anaconda.
Garden Suite
The Garden Suite features a king size bed in one room and a daybed with sitting area in another. The private bathroom is equipped with a stand up shower.
Pintler Suite
The Pintler Suite is great for couples or business trips. It features a king size bed and a study area. The bathroom is equipped with a tub and shower combo.
